Big Dream: You Will Make It

A woman had the following dream:

“I had a dream that I was in a spaceship and everything was in bright colorful colors. I remember feeling safe, then all the sudden it drops me on a railroad bridge, above a river. I had to shimmy across that whole bridge to solid ground. I had this dream maybe 20 years ago,but I still think about it sometimes. I was never afraid. ?”

Interpretation
The dream seems reassuring and predictive to me. The spaceship with bright colors to me is a higher world or even spiritual perspective filled with positive emotion. Colors are different kinds of emotions. When colors are vivid in dreams, that indicates that they are strong feelings.

Water is emotion and rivers usually represent the River of Life.  Bridges most often represent making the transitions in life emotionally necessary to make progress consciously. A bridge and particularly a railroad bridge represents a life Passage. Dreams love to use trains because of the many metaphors to life such as being on the right track and leaving the station on time.

I believe the dream is reassuring in that it says that you will have challenging passages in life, but by remaining calm and making steady progress, will get to where you need to go. I feel this dream predictive and reassuring. Any dream that you have repetitively over a course of years is a “big dream” that has significance about the course of your life. Congratulations!

My Jets Are Burned Out

images(2)Dream 257: A 28-year-old woman dreamed that her husband was mobilized to serve in Iraq. She then dreamt that the jet he piloted crashed into the airport where she worked.

Interpretation– She dreaded her job at the airport which was tedious, regimented, and boring. She had these same feelings toward the military. Her husband represents an action part of her psyche.

The jet crashing into the airport was advising her to find a different job because she was “burned out” and getting ready to crash regarding her job. This was the meaning of the dream at the first level, where every character is symbolic of either an action part (male) or emotional part (female) of the mind.

The dream was a predictive dream as well as being a symbolic dream. Two weeks after she had this dream, her husband was mobilized to serve in Iraq in real life. This is the interpersonal level of the dream. When both levels are true, which is usually true, we say that the dream condenses on itself.

How can dreams be predictive of the future? I believe there is something inherent in the nature of human consciousness that gets transmitted to all of humanity. There are undiscovered quantum physics principles which will one day explain this phenomenon. It may be true as emphasized in Eastern religions that “we are all one.”

Predictive Dreams and Deja Vu

Predictive dreams or precognitive dreams may be the source of déjà vu experiences. Deja vu experiences tend to be of common place happenings. That is because you may have had a predictive dream that you do not remember because it involved a daily activity and was not an exciting or impressive dream you would be more likely to remember. Deja vu happens when you are doing an activity and then remember the dream that predicted it because it is happening before your eyes. If you remembered the dream before, it would not feel like déjà vu.crystal ballImprove your karma with Dreams: Guide to the Soul at http://www.drstevenfox.com
