The power of life and love

Dream 408: Loving Life

I dreamed I was in a dark forest walking on a dirt path, in the middle of the path there were black horses breathing fire thru nostrils. I felt terrified and sat on ground in a fetus position, praying to please allow me to cross over the other side. I crawled slowly, getting under the horses. Suddenly these horses started rubbing heads on my face with so much love. Slowly removing the extreme fear with loving touches. Then different animals in the forest– deer, mice, rats, snakes and so on. All where rubbing and caressing me, and I was in a state of overwhelming love..WOKE UP..cried because i still felt the sensation of this love, I couldn’t eat meat for months. I couldn’t cut chicken for my family’s dinners. I would start crying. It was strange to still feel it after months. I am not religious or a vegetarian.

Interpretation

Animals generally represent our instincts which are biological necessities in order to survive. Horses in particular seem to represent female living energy or libido. The first part of the dream is you have the power of that life force. It is the shadow side of the life or love force that provides the “horsepower” needed in life. The remainder of the dream is trying to make you comfortable with accepting that energy because when that life force is used correctly, it is loving, instinctual, and the basis of life.

What does a gigantic silver horse with a gigantic silver man riding it mean in a dream?

Pie in the sky
Pie in the sky

Dream 351: Pie in the Sky, By and By

A man dreamed he was looking at a gigantic silver horse in the sky with a gigantic silver figured man riding it. They were about three stories high. Large white fluffy clouds covered their lower half.

Interpretation

There are several remarkable things about this dream. First, the figures appear in the sky. Things appearing in the sky probably are related to the dreamer’s higher aspirations.

Silver is a precious metal. Some say it could represent wealth. Each character in the dream is considered to be a different part of the dreamer’s mind at the first level of dream interpretation.

A horse is an animal and represents your instincts. Specifically, a horse in particular represents your energy or ability to accomplish what you want to accomplish in life, your horsepower. If this is a predictive dream, it was predicting that the dreamer would do well financially and otherwise.

If it is a dream of desire, and I suspect it is a dream of desire, his aspirations for what he wanted to accomplish materially are very high. Clouds emphasize how high his goals are on the one hand, while also indicating that his plans may be in the formative stage and are “cloudy.” All in all, it looks like a dream of what he wanted to carry out.

It is predicting he has the horsepower to do it. His ground game needs to be worked out as his plans could be in the sky and need to be grounded in reality. Once he works things out pragmatically, the sky is the limit.

What do ghosts and horses mean in a dream?

Riding Away the Ghosts of the Past

Dream 322: Riding Stress Away

A woman dreamed that she owned a mansion with a stable that were haunted. She made an agreement with the ghosts that if they left her alone, she would not exorcise them. She thoroughly cleaned and decorated the house.

There were many dead animals in her dream as well. They still had all their body parts with the same colors and fur, but they did not breathe.

For months this was a nightmare, but it eventually transformed into a place she loved to visit in her dreams. Her haunted farm became a place of peace and fulfillment.

Interpretatin

Ghosts are often memories of the past because it is like we can be haunted by memories of the past. It is one of the interpretations that Freud was right on. Of course he was not right on everything, but some things he was stunningly right on. That horses often represent female sexual power was one of them.

In any case, animals usually represent basic instincts or drives. It sounded like her instincts had been deadened. She was comfortable with it because her past was a bit wild.

In any case, it sounded like had dealt with her past. She was now at peace. The farm is a natural place suggesting she was more grounded perhaps than in the past.

The dreamer confirmed this interpretation. She noted that her past was somewhat wild. She had recently come to terms with her past. She did it by contemplating and riding horses on a farm. This dream was a condensation because it was true on both a symbolic and concrete level.

What does money mean in dreams?

Benjamins of Energy
Benjamins of Energy

Dream Question 296: Money in dreams is usually personal energy. Dreams often use money as a summary symbol of how much physical, emotional, social, political, financial, spiritual and subconscious energy the dreamer has in a given situation. Money commonly signals the amount of personal wherewithal the dreamer can now bring to bear on a problematic situation in the dreamer’s life.

There are, of course, other indicators of the dreamer’s personal energy level. Large land animals such as elephants or vigorous sea creatures such as whales or sharks indicate that the energy level of the dreamer is high. The type of animal describes the energy involved. For example, sharks and scorpions are typically aggressive energy, while horses many times go with relationship or sexual power.

A frequent modern-day symbol for energy involves gas stations. Cars in dreams are typically how you get somewhere in life symbolically in a dream. Getting fuel at a gas station generally indicates that it would be helpful for the dreamer to bring energy from outside of themselves into his or her life to get where they want to go.

Dreams like to use symbols that will get the dreamer’s attention. Money is an important and essential part of modern life that will seldom escape notice. Money is a particularly salient symbol in many situations that can be used as shorthand for the amount of personal resources the dreamer now has.

Money is almost certain to capture the dreamer’s attention. And you can take that to the bank. Ka-ching!

Why Won’t My Pony Lie Down?

Dream 216 :Why Won’t My Pony Lie Down?

A 19-year-old coed dreamt that she was going from bar to bar and was socializing. She returned to the dorm with a small pony that followed her wherever she went. The pony insisted upon standing on the bed with all four feet and would not lie down which made it virtually impossible to sleep.

No matter what she did, the horse would not lie down and go to sleep. She then realized that horses can sleep standing up. When she went to college the next day, she saw government officials and police coming out of the Admissions Office who proceeded to run after her.

Dream 215—Interpretation

The first question I asked her was whether she was partying too much with which she agreed. Horses represent female sexual power. She wanted to study but was engulfed by all the attention she was receiving from men.

Her late night activities made it difficult to get any sleep. She could not get enough attention and went out night after night (thus, that horse would never lie down). She gave herself some vague hope that she could both rest and carouse around (the horse sleeping while standing idea). She was in danger of losing her academic scholarship and was worried (represented by the police pouring out of a college building).

Wild Horses May Take Me Away

Dream 211: Wild Horses May Take Me Away

A 20-year-old woman dreamt that she was in the hospital after recently giving birth to a baby girl. She dreamt that her attractive and social girlfriend was now giving birth to a baby boy. She previously had gone on double dates with this friend. The dream shifted to her driving to a barn located near a highway. The barn was brown. It had three horses within it. She went and took care of the horses. She later returned to the hospital where her friend was. She wondered if she closed the gate.

Dream 211–Interpretation

The dream started out the scene with a hospital which implies that some healing needs to take place. In reality, the dreamer recently gave birth to a baby girl. Her remembering this during the dream was juxtaposing her role as a mother with her role as a woman. She was being told that a new action part of herself (the baby boy) was being born in relation to her being a heterosexual woman because the baby boy’s mother was associated with her femininity.

The brown barn represents earthiness and being grounded, especially because it was brown. Horses often represent female sexual power. The number three indicated that some change in her definition of herself as a woman was taking place. That there were three horses emphasized the strength of her feminine powers (horsepower). When she tended her instinctive sexuality, she had to do so alone, without her child. She wondered if she had let her desires run wild because she worried about closing the gate after the horses had already left the barn.
