Dream 478: Have fun, but avoid the strings attached or it could lead to a long slide

A man had the following dream:

“So I had a fairly weird dream this morning/yesterday night..

In one portion of my dream, I dreamed that I was texting my crush(I’m a guy and my crush is a girl), and we both had a good time texting each other(she joked around with me and in my dream, I believe I was smiling).

The other portion of my dream involves me being at a water park/resort with my friends. I saw a ton of light blue and there were these structures with ropes hanging around and I climbed them effortlessly(although there were mishaps here and there). I also went down a long slide.

What does this dream mean?”

Interpretation

A woman usually represents the emotional side of a dreamer. Men usually represent more of an action part of your mind in a dream. It sounds like you are logically working out how to combine your actions with your emotions in the first part which sounds pleasant actually.

So the dream announces at the beginning that this is going to be about how to combine your actions with your emotions in regard to your social life. It takes you to a waterpark with friends. Water virtually always represents emotions in dreams. The dream, I think, is giving a mild warning.

Blue is the color of the sky and I think of it as representing freedom and unlimited possibility. I think it is giving a warning with the the ropes that you will be given opportunities with your friends, and you will be able to enjoy them for the most part, but one mustn’t forget that there are strings attached.

I see this dream as being all about your own integration of emotion and action vs how much to play the social game that could have strings attached. The strings could lead to some mishaps, although you will probably mostly have fun. The final warning is the long slide. Playing the game too long could lead to a slide in your social life.

Take it for what it’s worth as I do not know you.

What do birds and cardinals represent in a dream?

Is it safe to fly and change now?

Dream 403: Bird of Paradise Defies the Snake

A woman described the following dreams:

Two recent dream’s…
•One large cardinal in the forest..
•One large copperhead

The cardinal was abnormally large, sitting in a tree and I was watching it as it flew down. The snake was coiled at the bottom and errect facing me with its mouth open as I looked at its fangs and talked to someone about its poison.

Interpretation

Birds usually represent freedom, independence and taking flight in life. Snakes most often represent change. Snakes are one of the few animals to completely shed its skin. You may be trying to assess what dangers (fangs and poison) are involved in your taking flight in life. Cardinals are typically red. Red goes with love and intense emotions. Red is also the color that goes with our family chakra.

It sounds like you are trying to assess how much damage or change in your life is going to occur as you become more independent. It is likely that you are especially concerned on how it affects family emotions.

The cardinal being abnormally large probably means you are in the process of making big decisions regarding your independence and flight. The decision you make could be of Cardinal importance.

What does a whale mean in a dream?

Having a Whale of a Time Mom
Look Mom! Having a Whale of a Time!

Dream 267: Riding the Whale

A nine-year-old boy dreamed he was riding a whale in a large football stadium filled with water. The whale fathomed the waters and did death-defying flips in the air. The boy somehow was unhurt. In fact, he did not even get drenched.

The whale suddenly turned and headed straight for a wall. The boy feared the giant mammal would not be able to stop in time. The dream ended without showing the outcome.

Interpretation

He recently started living with his mother. At his previous residence, there were strict rules and limitations on his range of movement. His mother fostered self-sufficiency and independence in the boy while having flexible and sensible rules that kept him safe.

Water is almost always emotion. Animals represent instinctual and natural drives. A whale in particular represents the desire for powerful emotional experiences. The dream was showing him that he now could experiment with his behavior with proper boundaries.

He fears that he will “hit a wall” with his new-found freedom. The dream ends without that happening. The dream is signaling that he is unlikely to be harmed by his guided and responsible independence.

The dream is trying to reassure him that his new environment is safe. Given the feats the whale was accomplishing at the beginning of the dream, if I were a betting man, I would bet the whale makes that turn in time. When you can ride that mammoth mammal subconscious drive without even getting really wet, it is likely that you are in for a whale of a time.

My Creativity Is Voracious and Is Eating Me Alive–This Is for the Birds

PR angel: at the International Birdman Competition in Bognor.Dream 191: My Creativity Is Eating Me Up

A 30-year-old man dreamt that he was looking at apartments in the town where he grew up. The first apartments were all desolate and decrepit and did not look fit for human habitation. He came upon an apartment complex which was well-built. As he looked up at the multi-storied complex, he saw bird men sitting in a row on a ledge. These half human, half bird men were just sitting there inactive, with an occasional ruffling of feathers.

The dream shifted to him being inside one of these luxury apartments. He remembered trying to go into the kitchen, but a bird man blocked his way. He was then surrounded by bird men in the living room.  The bird men began eating him.

Dream 191 Interpretation

His early life was confusing to the point that he ran away from home when he was twelve. He lived on the streets, staying with friends, most of whom lived in apartments. The early run down apartments in the dream were an accurate depiction of his early life which, of course, had a major impact upon him.

The high-rise apartments are describing his more recent development. He was a complex person who wrote poetry that was quite good. Birds can represent freedom, and he was a very self-reliant and independent man. The birds are inactive early in the dream. Flight is often indicative of spirituality. His spirit not flying was ruffling his feathers.

He did not have a job that he could tolerate. He felt compelled to write, but had recently stopped writing because of depression. The dream is saying that he wants to create (the kitchen is a place of creativity), but he had writer’s block. Not writing was making him depressed, it was figuratively eating him up.
