What might twin boys and twin girls mean in a dream?

Dream 481: The sky is the limit

A woman had the following dream:

“I had a dream last night that I was holding four children, two boys and twin girls…they were so adorable…I have no idea what it means, but I felt do much love for them.”

Interpretation

Each living thing in a dream is usually a part of the dreamer psyche. Boys tend to go with actions. Girls tend to go with emotions. There is something new in your life, either a new idea, a new relationship, or new plans that you are taking new actions to implement on the basis of new emotions. The reason I believe this is that when the dream wants to emphasize something it gives you two and you have double twins. Congratulations!

Reaction: I received the following reaction from the dreamer:

“Wow, that is correct…I just launched my freelance writing business this year and am planning a move out of state, plus hoping to meet someone new to date once there. Thanks!”

What does delivering your own baby in a dream mean?

hqdefault

Dream 441: It’s your baby

A woman had the following dream:

“I had a dream I delivered my own baby and unwrapped the cord from his neck too . Was directing my family to call 911 and get scissors to cut cord to.”

Interpretation

Having a baby means giving birth to a new aspect of yourself. The dream is saying probably that you need to give some air to a new idea, project or new characteristic of yourself.

I think it may be saying that no one can do this for you. It is literally your baby.911 emphasizes usually that you should make the changes now. The scissors cutting the cord and you calling your family may mean something about cutting the cord with your family.

What does a fraternity, Donald Trump, and a baby dying mean in a dream?

download

Dream 434: Dump Trump

A woman had the following dream:

“Oh wow…I was in what seemed to be a frat house. Some young guy was complaining about all the hoes at the party. I went upstairs to go to the bathroom and saw a man coming towards the house with a black object/machine/vacuum in his hands, although the dream itself blocked out what it really was. Then BOOM, the entire house was decimated, no one left, even a small baby had been killed. Only people on the porch survived and this is where I was.  Then a woman came by and my brother and we had to sign papers. Then I saw the ghost of that baby because I was sad it had died too.

Then I saw another man in a vision in front of people in a city like new york square setting. He was dressed in black with red acting crazy with some kind of message for me. Then another guy dressed in black in another place i cannot remember yet was very clear in this dreamline…

Dream 435: Dump Trump

Every person in the dream is a part of your mind. Men go with your actions. A frat house is a Brotherhood of educated men who Goof Off a lot in my world. In the dream, they are anti-women, which means they are anti-emotional as women tend to go more with your emotions while men tend to go more with your actions.

These men are all off including a baby. I think the dream may be saying you need to get rid of any actions that are even unintentionally derogating to women. The baby is included because it is saying you have to get rid of even any tiny notion that might not be in favor of emotions or women.

The speaker in New York is obviously Donald Trump. The dream isn’t being clear about the two men. I suspect strongly that one of them was Donald Trump. I suspect the other man was the opposite of Donald Trump, what your actions preferably could be.

This extremely biased opinion was not paid for and I agree with its content. It is speculation of what I think is likely and humorous comments may also be true, but there is no way of definitely knowing.

The dreamer later told me after the interpretation that she and her daughter had been having major debates about Trump’s misogynist view of women.

What if you have a series of dreams close together? Can these dreams all be about the same thing?

Dreams can bring out the warrior in your woman
Dreams can bring out the warrior in your woman

Dream 377: I have an idea, I think it is right, and I can do it myself, thank you

A woman had the following series of dreams:

“I had a series of vivid dreams of late.
1. Brushing my hair and clumps of hair fall out asking with pieces of my scalp, which starts to bleed.
2. Surprisingly didn’t know I was pregnant until I went into labor (luckily at a hospital) I end up running from staff to give birth privately in an unused room alone, without help.
3. I make candy and have one recipe I’ve used so often that I know it by heart. In this dream as I tell someone the recipe, a complete stranger shows up in the doorway to insist that my ingredients are wrong. For some reason I can’t let it go, I just keep arguing why I’m right.”

My Interpretation

I love series of dreams. Frequently a series of dreams that occur closely together may be talking about the same issues. I view what is described below as a consolidation of the information.

1. Losing hair can mean worries about having the power to do something. This is something a little different because you were actually losing pieces of your scalp with it. To me, I was wondering if you initially had concern whether you had the right idea about something.

2. Having a baby can be symbolic of starting a new project, a new idea, new venture, etc. Insisting on having the baby alone may actually be advice from your subconscious to pursue the project, idea, or venture alone without other people disrupting the idea.

3. You have a sweet idea of how to nurture others (candy) that you have carried for a long time. You are convinced about the rightness of the idea and can defend it to others (the argument with the stranger).

What does breastfeeding a baby mean in a dream?

woman holding baby

Dream 361: It’s Your Baby!

A woman had a dream that another woman had an infant about 6 months old that she wanted the dreamer to breast feed. The woman wanted to give the baby to the dreamer so that the dreamer could feed this 6 month old baby. The dreamer said that in the dream her breasts were full with milk, but when she tried to feed the baby, the baby would not let her feed it and kept reaching for its mother.

Interpretation

When we have a new idea, a new project, or a new creation, people often say, “it’s your baby.” If it were my dream, I would take it as a sign that there is a new idea or project that someone came up with that my subconscious does not want me to nurture, that the new project or idea needs to be owned and nurtured by its creator.

What does flying, robots, babies and your mom criticizing you in a dream mean?

Robots, Flying and Kids

Dream 334: I’m Ready to Fly (almost)

A career woman dreamed that she was flying like superwoman. A flying robot was flying after her trying to catch her, which he never did. It was like having to escape from the flying robot helped her to learn to fly better.

She saw a festival and went down to feast before returning to flying. She could hear her mother saying that she should go home and take care of her babies instead of partying and flying around. The dreamer felt resentment that she had to stop flying to take care of her babies (the dreamer had no children in real life.)

Interpretation

Flying implies that the dreamer is feeling personally powerful and able to accomplish many goals. A robot is not human in a mechanical repetitive rote memory way that is boring. A baby represents new projects in the dreamer’s life or new parts of herself that she wants to develop.

Each character in the dream is a part of the dreamer’s mind which is the first rule in my book Dreams: Guide to the Soul. Her mother in the dream is the image of her mother she introjected into her subconscious as a child. The mother introject is often the basis of the dreamer’s emotions. In this case, the mother introject is functioning primarily to make her feel guilty for not living up to her responsibilities.

Given the above, I have several thoughts: (1) The dreamer felt held down and wanted to fly, (2) Her attempts to avoid being robotic-like (she is flying away from a pursuing robot) encouraged her to fly (to boldly strike out in new directions), (3) She felt guilty about festivaling/feasting too much (her mother introject did not approve) and (4) She probably feel held down by new projects (the dream is emphasizing new babies which are usually new projects or developing new parts of herself, i.e., “it’s your baby.”)

The dreamer later told me that “feeling held down is exactly how I feel, it is a good representation of how I feel….I just feel weighted down by all these things, even new projects..and I have little to no energy to make myself become not weighted down……the way I interpreted my dream was, I have to take care of some projects before i learn, or am finally able to fly.”

What does a baby mean in a dream?

What's new is your life?
What’s new in your life?

Dream Answer 298: Babies are almost always good news in dreams. They typically signal new growth in the dreamer of either new emotional (girl babies) or new behavior (boy babies). The following dream indicated new emotional growth:

An adult woman dreamed that she saw a spirit (baby-like) floating up in the corner of her bedroom near the ceiling. She staring at it trying to figure out what to do when her chihuahua, who was also looking at it, turned to her and said “you see it, just speak to it”. So she asked “who are you” and it materialized into a flower (like a daisy) against her wall.

Interpretation

Each person or creature in a dream is a part of the dreamer’s psyche at the first level. Females tend to go with emotions. Males tend to be associated with behavior. A baby represents a new part of the mind/psyche.

Floating or flying typically takes on spiritual meaning. Floating indicates usually an activated energy that is hanging above the dreamer. The emotional change that the new female baby portends is likely to happen soon when it is floating which is a peaceful and serene form of flying.

Dogs typically go with the dreamer’s affections and are associated with loyalty and protection. The dog gives you advice in the sense of urging you to speak to activate this new emotional part of you. Specifically, the dreamer was urged to speak directly about what she sees going on to others (“you see it, just speak it”).

The baby turning into a flower indicated that her new emotional growth was beautiful. The flower went against her “wall” which indicated she was going to be less defensive. The new emotional growth on the verge of entering the dreamer’s life was that she was becoming less defensive by speaking out directly about what she sees going on. She was being urged to be less defensive and to be more assertive. The dream wanted her to speak her truth.

My Attempt to Change Died

Dream 280: Change Died
baby-found-alive-at-chinese-funeral-home-2-days-after-being-pronounced-dead
A 48-year-old woman dreamed that she bought the house of her son’s mother-in-law. When she arrived at this house, there was a dead baby in a casket with large funeral candles on each side of the casket.

Interpretation

This woman was hyper-critical of her son. His mother-in-law had a troubled background similar to his mother’s personal history. The mother-in-law was, nevertheless, relatively calm, more diplomatic, and less critical than the dreamer.
A house can represent the dreamer because it is the framework out of which one lives. That the dreamer bought the house indicates that the dreamer is aspiring to be a different person, to be more like her son’s mother-in-law. The deceased baby is not good news.

Each character in a dream represents a part of the dreamer’s personality at the first level of dream interpretation. A baby represents a new part of the personality or psyche that the dreamer tried to develop. So a baby represents personal growth on the part of the dreamer.

That the baby is dead signals that her attempt to be different, to be more like the calmer mother-in-law, failed. That it was an attempt to change was highlighted by the funeral candles. Candles imply fire, and fire represents change because fire changes matter into energy.

It is perfect that they were funeral candles. Funeral candles are typically unlit. The unlit candles emphasized that no change had occurred. That it is a funeral scene gives some hope because the dreamer saw her lack of change as a real loss. The dreamer is in mourning which suggests that being more like the mother-in-law personality-wise was something that the dreamer really wanted.

Wild Horses May Take Me Away

Horsepower
Horsepower
Dream 211: Wild Horses May Take Me Away

A 20-year-old woman dreamt that she was in the hospital after recently giving birth to a baby girl. She dreamt that her attractive and social girlfriend was now giving birth to a baby boy. She previously had gone on double dates with this friend. The dream shifted to her driving to a barn located near a highway. The barn was brown. It had three horses within it. She went and took care of the horses. She later returned to the hospital where her friend was. She wondered if she closed the gate.

Dream 211–Interpretation

The dream started out the scene with a hospital which implies that some healing needs to take place. In reality, the dreamer recently gave birth to a baby girl. Her remembering this during the dream was juxtaposing her role as a mother with her role as a woman. She was being told that a new action part of herself (the baby boy) was being born in relation to her being a heterosexual woman because the baby boy’s mother was associated with her femininity.

The brown barn represents earthiness and being grounded, especially because it was brown. Horses often represent female sexual power. The number three indicated that some change in her definition of herself as a woman was taking place. That there were three horses emphasized the strength of her feminine powers (horsepower). When she tended her instinctive sexuality, she had to do so alone, without her child. She wondered if she had let her desires run wild because she worried about closing the gate after the horses had already left the barn.

Getting Over Work Adddiction

?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Dream 195: Getting Over My Work Addiction

A 34-year-old woman dreamt that she had a baby prematurely at twenty weeks past conception. The baby looked like a little man. He looked like a mentor and manager at work that she deeply admired and tried to emulate. The baby was wrapped in a blanket with the ends of the blanket stretched and tied so that the baby was encased in a stretched blanket which hung like a hammock above the incubator.

The baby was not doing well. Finally, the baby had convulsions and fell to the floor. A doctor she liked told her, “Don’t worry, that happens here all the time.” She then heard an overriding voice that sounded like the mentor she admired that said, “I found God and sobriety.”

Dream 195 Interpretation

This women’s mentor took another job and left her workplace about twenty weeks ago. She had to do all the work she performed before and fill in for his position as well. She barely knew enough to do all the functions of her transformed position.

Her being the mother of a 20-week-old baby symbolized the birth of her new work position which was twenty weeks old. She felt that her mentor left his position prematurely before she learned all the necessary functions. The baby represented her new work psyche which she felt had been “stretched and hung out to dry” (similar to the baby in the incubator.)

The good doctor was warning her that she was likely to crash if she continued on her chosen course. The overriding voice from her mentor was advising her to avoid being addicted to work (since he said he found sobriety) and to be more spiritual (he said he found God.) She decided to heed the words of her subconscious. She decided to spend less time at work, look for a new job and pursue her spiritual interests.
