What does blowing bubbles mean in a dream?

Dream 520: I’m forever blowing bubbles

A woman had the following dream:

“I had a strange dream last night, I was at a new job and I was sitting at the desk and I opened my cabinet.  I said that my jewelry is missing a necklace. On my left, there were 3 girls blowing bubbles. On my right, a girl was offering me chocolate small bars in a white bag. It ended there. The cabinet was a light wood color. Thanks

Interpretation

I think the dream may be commenting on the type of job you may want to find. Three is the number of change since three people in a relationship is the most unstable.

Water is emotion and bubbles sound like fun emotion to me. The little chocolate bars, of course, are “sweet little things.”

Jewelry usually refers to values or valuables in your subconscious–what is important to you. The left tends to go with the subconscious while the right usually mirrors conscious wishes.

You want a necklace which is worn near the throat chakra which tends to go with communication and free speech. But your necklace being missing may be implying there was not enough communication in previous jobs. The cabinet strikes me as a storage of things you want and value.

I think the dream is probably saying something like the best job for you would be one that would be a change in the sense of having a certain amount of emotional fun in it. Consciously, it may involve little sweet things (children?). It is important that there is communication, and relatively open communication, on the job.

Feedback

The dreamer later told me she thought the dream was giving advice on what type of job she should look for.

What does the ocean, sea coral, and three children mean in a dream?

Dream 307 Grow in Awareness of Your Subconscious Emotions or Take a Good Look at Yourself

A woman saw three children running toward a building. Then she found herself in a room which had a fair going on in it with a circus atmosphere replete with concessions, vendors, games, monkeys, fountains of chocolate, costumes, etc. She then saw three kids with a vendor.

The vendor and the three children were in a kitchen. One of the children was licking a bowl after a cake was made. They were listening to the man. He had blue coral growing on half of his face.

The man turned to her to demand that she should be teaching the children about the ocean which is what he was doing. It was all important that she teach the children about the ocean.

Interpretation

Three is the number of change. Three is the number of change because 3 people in a relationship is the most unstable interpersonal situation possible. Things are going to change. Each character is a part of the dreamer’s mind. Children would be relatively new parts. So the dream was saying that she needed to change by integrating relatively new parts of her thinking.

There are a lot of entertainment figures in this dream. The dream may be saying she needed to have more fun and play in her life. The kitchen is a place of creativity and nurture.

The man wants to talk about the ocean which basically is the subconscious. I believe the dream in a larger sense is saying it would be helpful to her creativity (the kitchen). It would also sweetly nurture (the cake bowl) the dreamer to look at her subconscious emotions (teaching the new parts of herself–the children–about the ocean).

Coral is alive and is growth in the ocean. The dream is screaming that exploring her subconscious emotions would lead to growth in how she looked at herself (the coral is on his face). She had to face up to it.

Let Them Eat Cake

Dream Image 284: Someone recently asked me what a wedding cake symbolizes in a dream. I saw this as good opportunity to show how to combine and use the different principles explained in my book. A wedding or marriage symbolizes the integration of male and female aspects of the dreamer. Males represent action parts of the mind, while females represent more emotional aspects of the psyche.

Dreams use gender as code to indicate whether it is an action part of the mind or an emotional part. This is true whether the person is male, female, lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transsexual. Dreams are an equal opportunity employer of symbols.

So we all have various action and emotional parts of the mind. A wedding and marriage represents the integration of male and female, of the action parts and the emotional parts of the deamer’s psyche.
Food stands for psychological or emotional support.

A wedding cake in particular is very sweet, which is how the couple getting married hopes they will treat one another. You might say that they are sweet on one another. Eating in the dream indicates that the dreamer is trying to incorporate that quality into their character.

The fact that they’re feeding one another indicates that your actions want your emotions to be sweet. Conversely, your emotions want your actions to be sweet. At the second or interpersonal level of dream interpretation, this is also true as the couple wants their partner to be sweet in actions and emotion. How sweet it is!
