“I just woke up from the weirdest dream. There was a busy little street with ton of shops and fun houses etc., almost like the Kensington market area. There was a school down the hill with a small gate and a bunch of students outside who were bullying some kid. I had my back to a railing. There was some water that had been splashing up onto the sidewalk from what I thought at first was the ocean.
I looked down and there was a animal that was the cross between a dolphin,a manatee, and a balooga whale. It was big but swimming in a puddle. It was looking at me and talking to me telepathically. I was petting it and trying to help it. I could hear the song “higher than a mountain” being sung very loudly by Linda Moulton Howe (the lady from the alien clips on youtube).
There was a guy looking at me from a window of a psychic shop who was questioning me about what I was going do to help the creature. Behind me, the bar I was leaning on led down into an industrial area filled with machines that I work on. I was talking to the animal and its face was transforming as it spoke to me and I started crying trying so hard to figure out how I was going to help the animal.
I’m sure I left out a couple details because I just woke up, still in excruciating pain. Please can you help me see the meaning? It seemed like a very powerful dream and it seemed very real. When it was happening, it was like I could feel the animal’s skin and feel its soul talking to me.”
Water in dreams is emotion. Animals usually represent the dreamer’s instincts. The animal is a very interesting collection of three animals.
A manatee is a herbivore “sea cow” which I think may represent your nuturing and peaceful side of your nature. The beluga whale is in the arctic and probably represents your strong and well developed ability to endure harsh conditions. A dolphin is intelligent, lively, fun, and versatile.
This animal that belongs in the ocean is reduced to splashing in a mud puddle in the streets which may be a comment on how your powerful inner nature is constrained by circumstances on the street.
The lady singing ” higher than a mountain” may be commenting on the challenges that you face.
I think the man looking out from the psychic shop is a call to action to use your psychic abilities to find an emotional place or atmosphere in life where your feelings can survive.
That it was very vivid and seemed real to your senses to me indicates that it was indeed a “big” dream with spiritual/transcendental meaning.

Dream 512: Change, Change, Change
A woman had the following image dream: “A very long black snake with three heads and glowing red eyes.”
A snake is a symbol of change since it’s one of the few animals that completely sheds its skin. Three is the number of change in the sense of three people in a relationship is the most unstable situation you can have–things are going to change.
Red usually indicates strong emotion–it can be either anger or love depending on the situation. The eyes are said to be the windows to the soul.
She is orobably anticipating or going through some major kind of a change that is very emotional. How the snake is behaving is important. Is the snake threatening and moving, something she observes from a distance, etc.? Her feelings in the dream would also be key here. How she feels in the dream is likely how she feels about the changes or coming changes.

I dreamed of a black german shepard dog with a yellow collar running down the road. He was obviously lost by the way he acted and looked. Does this have a meaning?
Dogs usually represent your instinctive affection of loyalty and protection. It sounds like you may have lost that feeling of being protected by another’s loyalty. Yellow can be a color signifying caution is needed. These feelings have probably been “unleashed” and are looking for a home.
The dreamer replied:
Well, I’m about to get married at the end of the month. Maybe I’ve got prewedding jitters?
To which I answered:
That sounds reasonable to me. It could represent worries, that you do not want the feelings of loyalty and protection to be lost.

I have with a dream question that I can’t figure out–it’s a fairly simple dream, just wondering if this has a big meaning. A bald eagle was flying high and stopped mid-air to kiss me on the forehead. I woke up feeling extremely peaceful. I trust that it means something good because of how it felt. I am a super vivid dreamer…
Animals are typically our instincts in dreams. The eagle is a very powerful symbol. It typically represents freedom and independence. The eagle is a discerning hunter with keen sight.
Flying in dreams is almost spiritual and usually means things are changing or moving in your world in a big way. The kiss on the forehead probably means that you have made a decision or will make a decision that fiercely protects and promotes your world. It is particularly rewarding your intellect or wisdom.
It is an all-embracing approval of your using your head to defend your world which is spiritually uplifting. No wonder it was such a pleasing dream!
Vivid dreams are usually important emotionally and often have spititual connotations. Her subconscious and/or spirit was very pleased with her decisions.

Dream 497: When I’m nice, I get taken advantage of
A woman had the following dream:
I need help interpreting a dream. Well, actually two of them. 1- I don’t remember most of it, but the part that stands out was I had found the cat eating a mouse. I took it out of the cat’s mouth and found another mouse in that mouses mouth, so I grabbed it by the tail and pulled it out of the mouse’s mouth. It squirmed and fell and landed on my tongue, and all i could taste was mouse….very weird! 2- I was with Jeff (my hubby) and was explaining to him that if we couldn’t get along, then we needed to be friends because we are going to be raising these kids. I’d rather them see us as friends who respect each other rather than fighting. He was like “ok,” and suddenly there was some other woman there who was with him. Then I woke up and wanted to lose it on him, but realized I was just dreaming, and he”d have no idea why I was freaking out. So what do you think?
Animals usually represent instincts in dreams. A cat is a predator. A mouse is a vegetarian and is a peaceful creature. You are a rescuer. So the cat, in this particular instance, but not generally, represents your predatory or anger instincts. It consumes or overtakes your peaceful instincts. But what surprises you is that the peaceful creature you are trying to rescue, is trying to kill or be a predator to its own kind.
The second dream is a repeat of the first dream, only less graphically and symbolically. Your instinct to fight or contend with your hubby is replaced by a peaceful instinct to be friends. But you are betrayed by a predatory woman (or the predations or aggressiveness of your husband).
In both cases, you start out by trying to be a peacemaker, and then find out that you were betrayed, that your efforts to be peaceful resulted in your being preyed upon.
In one case, trying to replace your anger with peacemaking results in your being preyed upon by your own kind. In the human case, your efforts to make peace with your husband leads to fears that you’re going to be taken advantage of.
All of which leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

A man dreamed that he was walking with his mother and all of a sudden a pitbull ran out and bit her on the hand. But somehow, when she pulled her hand away, there was no wound and no bleeding. He wondered what this might mean? I, as usual, gave him an answer off the top of my head.
At the first level of dream interpretation, each a living thing represents a different part of your mind. Your mother usually goes with your emotions. Dogs and animals in general represent instinct. Dogs in particular usually represent something to do with protection and loyalty. In a dream like this, figuring out what the contradiction means is always important. The contradiction in this dream is how is it that she gets bitten, but isn’t hurt? In the dream, your mother usually represents the basis of your emotions.
A dog would represent your loyalty or protection of your emotions. I wonder if you tend to be a person who is hesitant to express anger. Because what happens is the dog does something very aggressive, but no harm is done to your emotions. In other words, I think the dream is emphasizing that you’re very worried about hurting others, but might not be standing up for yourself enough.
It is interesting that the dream is exaggerating the point by making the dog a pitbull, a dog known to be aggressive. The dream seems to be saying that it’s not going to hurt your feelings or others feelings by showing some aggression, as long as you don’t draw blood, that is, be too aggressive in your remarks or actions. I believe your dream is going out of its way to exaggerate that being more assertive wouldn’t hurt anything, especially your feelings.

Dream 489: Spiders and a comical anaconda on the job
A woman had the following dream:
“I dreamt I was in a closed store, not shopping, but hanging out. Suddenly I realized there were little spiders and webs all around me. I had walked through them and the web and spiders were all over me. They were biting me. I tried to leave and a huge spider fell in front of me and when I tried to swat it away, it bit my hand. Then when I was trying to get out the only available path, a huge 10 foot anaconda was coiled up blocking me from leaving. It had a silly face though, with a goofy smile. So i was not afraid of it for long. I slowly walked around it and it never attacked.
In real life, I just started a new job and it’s very exhausting. What could this all mean together?”
When a dream starts out with a commercial setting like this dream does it’s usually about your job or your finances. Spiders and webs usually indicate fears of being trapped or caught by others plans.
The huge spider biting your hand indicates that you are worried that the job is going to limit your ability to do things since we do things with our hands. It also could be a warning not to “bite the hand that feeds you.” You may be taking the job too seriously, not that you shouldn’t take it too seriously, but you might be taking it in a way that you are not trusting enough. On the other hand, there may be reasons that you aren’t trusting and are worried about others nefarious plans.
An anaconda is a huge snake. Snakes virtually always indicate change since they are one of the few animals to completely shed its skin. The characteristics of the snake usually indicate what kind of change it’s talking about. In this case, it’s talking about big change.
First off, it sounds like the job is a big change in your life. Secondly, the dream, by the way that snake is behaving, may be indicating that you need to change the way you’re reacting to the job. Specifically, the snake becomes almost comical. I think the dream may be advising you to lighten up as you may be feeling more threatened than the situation warrants or lightening up will help you succeed as it is probably a difficult situation. I think that the snake never attacking you means that these changes you’re going through aren’t going to kill you.
**The dreamer later gave me feedback that she was indeed having troubles on the job that fit with the interpretation.

“So I had a dream where I was up on this sort of wooden watchtower with a bow and some arrows when suddenly a group of people riding elephants swarmed my tower. I held them off with my arrows and in the dream, I shot them and got them all (sparing the elephants).
I also dreamed that I had a large sword in the dream.
So what does this dream mean?”
Dreams frequently tell you what they are going to be about by the setting employed. You are in a watchtower which I believe may be the dream’s way of saying what the dream is going to be about, I.e. what you need to watch out for. It is about being discerning and protecting yourself from threats.
Each living thing usually represents a part of the dreamer’s mind. Animals are mostly instinctive energies (sex and aggression). An elephant is powerful energy. There are also sayings that may come into play such as “the elephant in the middle of the room” and the fact elephants have excellent memories.
A bow and arrow is used to defend yourself and you may be “aiming for perfection.” A sword metaphysically can be the intellectual discernment to cut through the garbage and penetrate to the truth.
I believe the dream might be giving advice. I think you have to discern what relationships in your life are predatory and/or arouse powerful emotions from you that wastes your energy. To get rid of negative or provocative people, in this case, you have to do so with accurate aim and finesse. Doing it at the right time and place to reduce emotional hurt to yourself is important (the elephants are not injured).

“While sleeping I had a dream and in the dream I was sleeping. I was awakened by a loud noise. When I looked out the window, I saw several black birds, huge ones, and several very large animals. The animals were like the size you would see in a Harry Potter movie. The animals were surrounding my house protecting me. They created a wall so no one could bother me.
What is that all about?”
Birds typically signal freedom, “free as a bird.” The blackbirds often goes with shadow energy with secrets and mystery. Animals usually represent your instincts in the dream.
That you are sleeping in a dream usually means that the dream is addressing subconscious issues. To have many animals around you is a good sign in a dream because it means you have the energy to protect yourself from Shadow elements.
You need Shadow energy (our “get up and go”) to accomplish goals, but you have other parts of your energy that will protect you from misusing Shadow energy. I do not know you, so take the above with a grain of salt as I do not know the context.
Dreams often point out how much energy you have at http://www.drstevenfox.com
A woman dreamed of lions head with flames on a skateboard. She then saw herself trying to lead a white stallion home?
Animals usually represent the dreamer’s instincts. A lion goes with courage and strength. The head is emphasized I think to say you have brave ideas. Flames and fire go with change because fire turns matter into energy.
I think the skateboard is emphasizing that you are well-balanced. A stallion goes with sexuality and virility, and the ability to charge forward. The color white is the most spiritual color.
I think the dream is saying you are a strong person who can charge bravely forward with ideas and actions of spirituality for the benefit of all.

“I am posting for a friend, because when she recalls her dreams, they usually mean something. They use imagery, symbolism and metaphors.
In the first part of her dream, she had to contain a room full of snakes without hurting any. That’s about it…
In the second part of the same dream, she was on ‘Earth’ but there were human-animal hybrids that imprisoned and ruled over humanity. They were protected from the ‘end’.
The moon was to collide with the planet, but as it hit, the sky flickered like a hologram, and the world leaders announced a failed nuclear detonation. They were trying to destroy the planet but blame something else.
The hybrids stand out to me:
-A strange form of centaur that was half horse, but half were-wolfish
-A form of pegasi that had bat wings
-Human-Lioness hybrids. White/blonde
The first part of a dream sequence usually announces what the dream is going to be about. Snakes almost invariably represent change. What is interesting about this is that she’s not worried about the snakes hurting her, she wanted to be careful to not hurt the snakes.
A snake is considered, broadly speaking, to be an animal. Animals usually represent our instincts. It is interesting that she wants to be careful not to damage her instincts which is unusual and bodes well for her, I believe. As we treat ourselves so we tend to treat others, and I would suspect that she is a very considerate type of person. So the dream is announcing that this sequence is going to be about change and how she handles her instincts, making sure not to damage her groundedness.
One can’t help but like the hybrids part of this dream. It represents instincts that are well-controlled.
In fact, I believe this series of dreams is all about her concern over controlling her instincts. Fortunately, I think the dream delivers mostly good news on this account. She is a very diverse person with well-controlled instincts. Let me take them one by one.
The Avians are like birds and usually represent freedom, i.e., “free as a bird.” Freud was right on a few things, and one of the things he was right about is that a horse usually goes with female sexual power. But this is a centaur, which is half human, which would normally indicate that her sexuality instincts are usually well-controlled; however, this centaur is half-horse and half were-wolf-like. That would indicate that she is worried about the wild side of her sexuality.
I think of the pegasi as a magical flying horse. So this would probably represent the magical power of sensuality.
The human lioness image is powerful. It is always good to have powerful animals in your dream. She has a lot of psychic energy that can be used for good. A lioness is Queen of the Jungle and actually does all of the hunting while the King of the Jungle sleeps. To me this would imply that she has a solid work ethic and maternal instincts.
The white & blonde color is interesting. White is the most spiritual color, while blonde is considered to be an ideal quality of the feminine and Divine Child in Western culture.
The Moon is usually thought of as going with subconscious emotional impulses that are somewhat in the dark. The Moon is literally colliding with the Earth which is a way of saying what she fears what will happen if her subconscious instincts are actualized, i.e., what will happen if her instincts become grounded and actualized in reality.
The Hologram is interesting. Any piece of a hologram will reflect the whole hologram. So in some sense a hologram is indestructible. I think the dream is trying to reassure her that her world doesn’t come to an end because of subconscious conflicts and change going on in her life.
Fire goes with change because fire changes matter into energy. A nuclear explosion is super fire or super change.
I think part of this involves the dream trying to reassure her that her world doesn’t come to an end if she becomes somewhat more instinctually uninhibited.
The world leaders are the opposite of the instinctive parts of herself. They actually think about destroying the world when they are supposed to be the leaders of the world. In other words, they are so logical that they make no sense. Does this sound like her parents?
This dream is partially a cautionary tale of rationalization and logic going too far, which she will not do because she honors her instincts highly. On the other hand, safe sex should be practiced to prevent a detonation.

Dream 463: Do I need to be less verbally aggressive?
A woman had the following dream:
“I had the weirdest dream! I was taking care of my brother who had recently become paralyzed ( in the dream, pray that doesn’t ACTUALLY happen) I had to bring him to my regular cleaning dental appointment. As the dental hygeniest walked away to obtain her tools or whatever, this dog ( yes, in THE DENTIST OFFICE) comes bites me on the leg and arm aggressively. So the Hygeniest comes back behaving nonchalntly about the incindent, as if what just happened shouldn’t be a concern! I’m thinking, “WHY IS THERE EVEN A DOG IN A DENTAL OFFICE!”
At the first level of dream interpretation, each person in the dream is a part of your mind. Men tend to go more with action parts of the Mind. Animals usually represent your instincts. This dream is all about teeth in many ways.
First you were getting your teeth cleaned. Secondly, the dog attacks you with teeth. I think in this case, the teeth are being recognized as a defensive or aggressive part of your personality. That your brother is paralyzed, I believe, means that the dream does not want you to act on anger you may have towards some situation. What is notable about this is I think your subconscious doesn’t want you to react with anger even if others are showing anger towards you in a certain situation.
Your subconscious wants you to keep everything clean and above board, at least above the jawline, which I think is a way of emphasizing there that wants you to not show aggression too much in what you say.
In this case, the dream may be overly dramatic to make a point. That is, someone may attack you in anger verbally, but your subconscious believes it will be healing for you not to react in anger. The reason I think healing is involved is because a medical professional is involved.
The dental hygienist represents the part of you that wants you to clean up your mouth, to put it frankly, because dreams are seldom subtle about making a point. The reason I believe it is mostly verbal anger is because the mouth is involved, both in regard to your teeth being cleaned, and the dog attacks you with its mouth.

I had a dream I was sleeping on a couch. Then I looked at the floor and I saw a turtle trying to get away from a tarantula. The turtle was too slow and the tarantula started to attack the turtle. Any idea of what this means ?
Animals at the first level usually represent the dreamer’s instincts. A turtle represents defensiveness because it’s surrounded by a shell. A turtle also represents slow but steady progress. A spider usually represents planning in the sense that it builds webs to catch its victims. A tarantula is aggressive often.
I would say your subconscious wants you to aggressively pursue some goal and not take the slow and gradual approach for now. I’m taking it that the trantula caught the turtle. I am guessing that your subconscious is getting impatient with a slow gradual defensive approach and wants you to plan forceful action.

Dream 460: Give me a spiritual home “Where the Buffalo Roam”
The Native Americans so the Buffalo as a sign of abundance because it supplied almost all of their needs. The color white is the most spiritual color as it is a combination of all the other colors. Dream 458: I have been betrayed by too many people
A woman had the following dream:
Last night, I had a dream that I was with a lover. We were laying in a bed in my house. I was holding his hands sort of like playing Mercy. I was holding his fingertips and squeezing them right at the nail beds right at the cuticles. And as I was squeezing his fingers, I was biting my own tongue and moving my head back and forth like a sprinkler. As I was biting my tongue, I was spraying blood back and forth like a sprinkler.
While this was happening, I was hissing. And there was a very sweet sweet smell in the air–everything smells very sweet. Then, when I stop squeezing his fingers and I stopped hissing and I stop bleeding everywhere. I looked up and I was outside on the road and the smell went away. But then I tried to grab his hands again and recreate the bleeding and squeezing and the hissing so that I could smell the smell again but I couldn’t get the smell back and I couldn’t bleed again.
The setting the dream opens with is usually what the dream is mainly about. In this case, it concerns your intimate relationships. Blood is related to your vital life energy, and usually implies very close or intimate relationships. Bleeding is how you’ve been hurt or how your life force has been diminished.
It starts out with a game of Mercy with a lover. This I believe is a play on words. It implies that you were expecting playfulness and mercy in an intimate relationship, but instead were betrayed and hurt deeply. Your bleeding from the mouth indicates that you’ve been very hurt by how people, people who were close to you, have reacted to what you have said to them about this intimate betrayal.
The dream is being dramatic in using blood being sprayed everywhere like a sprinkler because I think it is trying to say that you’ve been physically, psychologically and socially hurt. Like a water sprinkler covers a wide area, this particular betrayal is so deep that it is affecting all areas of your life.
The hissing is interesting. Snakes are most often associated with hissing. Snakes in dreams are usually associated with change. Hissing is a warning that the snake is going to strike. I believe this is a condensation in the sense that your subconscious wants you to be alert for how you could be hurt in the future. It also wants you to be careful that in your hurt feelings, that you don’t unintentionally hurt others who probably don’t realize the full extent of what you’ve been through.
Your not being able to recreate the same situation later in the dream, I think means that the dream wants you to avoid any situation that even comes close to the recent betrayals. The dream is emphasizing that what happened is over, and it is trying to help you minimize the damage to your life. A person cannot speak when they’re bleeding profusely from the mouth. By implication, the dream is saying that you haven’t been heard in the way that you meant it, and it is hurtful to you. The dream wants you, as much as you can, to avoid any situation that comes close to the Betrayal and events after it. The hissing is a warning to be on the alert for it. The dream moves to you being on the road to emphasize that your mind wants you to go on with your life in spite of the betrayal/betrayals.
The dream is not offering a solution other than to point out metaphorically the bloody carnage the betrayals have caused. By implication, it wants you to move on. The dream seems to be trying to warn you to avoid being played/playing games with people close to you that could hurt you dearly.

Dream 457: More ways than one to feed a starving cat
A woman had the following dream:
“I keep having a reoccuring dream of my dog. She is a small dog. I wake up and she is on my front step. There is a tub with hundreds of baby chickens. She is eating them and I hear their bones crunching. It’s scary for me because I’m vegeterian.
Each person or animal in a dream is part of the dreamer’s mind at the first level of interpretation. Animals usually represent the dreamer’s instincts. In this case, it seems the cat represents some part of her instinct too survive.
Household pets usually represents the person’s affections or preferences because of the good feelings we have about pets. Cats usually are associated more with feminine energy because they are independent, sensuous and intelligent. I think this cat is announcing what you need to eat to survive.
Her subconscious is dramatically screaming that she needs protein. She does not have to totally give up being a vegetarian, but she should consider doing “social chicken.” After all, 89% of vegetarians go back to eating meat. Especially as you get older, you typically need the protein.
Dreams usually indicate that you can’t always get what you want, but if you try real hard, you get what you need at http://www.drstevenfox.com
All I really remember of it is that there was an alligator or crocodile, I don’t know which one. It was on the ground and it crawled up to my mom. She was able to tame it and ended up literally cuddling with this crocodile or alligator! She wasn’t afraid and she literally was totally cool with having this animal right up by her. My mom is very compassionate and empathic. Google has not helped me at all to sift through what this means. Any thoughts?
When you dream of your mother you are in this case dreaming of the emotionally positive qualities you have internalized from your mother. Crocodiles usually represent aggressive energy. That is not necessarily negative.
Your get-up-and-go is fueled by aggressive energy so you need a certain amount of aggressive energy to accomplish your goals. Water invariably represents emotions and this dream is about emotional integration within yourself. The dream is urging you to accept all parts of yourself even the aggressive parts because they can be used positively.
The dream says that you either are or it is recommending further use of your positive feminine mothering energy to accept your aggressive impulses so that they can be put to positive use such as being your get up and go to accomplish the goals that you want to. This dream is all about modulating aggressive Shadow energy so that it can be used positively. The dream is emphasizing that you have it within you to accomplish this.

A woman told me the following before describing her dream:
I had a disagreement with someone that’s been in and out of my life. This person contacted me to tell me that I have the the power to fix it. I was asking for a sign if this relationship could be fixed or if this is a toxic relationship that I shouldn’t have in my life. [Before she went to sleep, she incubated a dream by asking for a dream that would indicate what she should do with this relationship and she had the dream described in the next paragraph]:
“In the dream, my golden retriever bit a cousin’s daughter, which is totally out of the dog’s character. The daughter’s mother (also my longtime friend and patient I provide care for) told me I need to put the dog down. I woke up feeling conflicted. Oddly enough I went to sleep asking spirit for a sign and that’s the sign the I received!”
I think the dream is voting that it is a toxic relationship that you should stay away from. Dogs are all about loyalty and the dream does a double entendre dream condensation on the theme of loyalty. Remember that each character in the dream is a part of your mind with women going more with emotions. Animals often represent our instinctive feelings. Dream condensation occurs when the dream is true on more than one level.
I think the woman represents your emotional common sense which says that, painful as it may be, you have to kill your instinctual loyalty (the dog) before you get bitten. The reason you put a dog down is because the dog has proven itself to be dangerous by biting someone. To me, this means you have to kill your internal loyalty to this person so that you do not get bitten again.

“I had a dream last night. In the dream there was a plum tree with 5 orangutans. They had their backs to me. Then my father picked me up and ran with me because there was a lot of sand coming at us from behind. Then we tumbled and I was carrying my father. Then we ran to a truck and rode the sand waves.
What’s this mean ?”
This is a very interesting dream. A tree is a symbol of integration because its roots grow in the ground, it opens to the sky, and it is here on the level with us. The plum tree has several meanings in my world. First off, a plum is a fruit and a food that nurtures you. Also a plum is usually something especially appealing like a plum job.
I would guess that the orangutans are barriers to getting something favorable that nurtures you. Animals usually represent instincts, the dreamer’s instincts. In this case, I think the dream is signaling that too much monkeying around is keeping you from getting something you want that would be favorable to you like a plum position of some kind. I think the orangutan instinct is interfering because I think it represents “monkeying around.”
Sand usually represents impermanence as it can be blown around and it never provides a solid foundation. You do not want to just build sand castles as goals in your life to my way of thinking. From that standpoint, it can be seen as insecurity.
Your father in the dream represents an action part of your mind as men tend to go with actions. Fathers most often are the basis of your actions to some degree. Your carrying your father might mean that you need to be supportive of your actions you are taking to avoid being insecure and wanting to build your future into a more secure and semi-permanent situation. You may want to build something in your life that is not subject to the shifting sands of time.
It also has significance that there are five orangutans. In my world, five usually represents adding something on to your stable self (4 is a stable number and five is literally adding something to your stable self as 1+4=5.
I think the dream is wanting you to take life more seriously, stop monkeying around, and support your actions towards building something more permanent in your life.
In my world, trucks are associated with work and you escape the sand on a truck. I think the dream is saying that you have to work to build a future worth having.

A man dreamed he was joyful as he was crossing a lake on a boat. The lake was full of crocodiles. Nevertheless, he was thrilled to be on the boat.
Water virtually always represents emotions in dreams. Crocodiles usually signal aggressive emotions or instincts. The aggression is the shadow side of this emotion. The positive side is that it also represents your “get up and go,” your desire to accomplish things.
You can use that aggressive energy for positive purposes. The other parts of the personality just need to put some limits on the shadow aspect of that aggressive Energy.
I view this dream positively. I feel that he is setting out on a voyage to find the “get up and go” to accomplish positive things for himself and the world.

“I had a dream I was sitting on my bed talking with my ex and I herd a rustling under my bed. Out came a snake with tiger stripes. It bit him in the neck. What could this mean?”
Snakes usually represent change because they shed their skin. The type of snake usually indicates what kind of change it would be. That the snake emerges from under your bed indicates that the dream is probably addressing change in a personal and intimate relationship.
This is an aggressive tiger snake. This could mean that it involves him being aggressive in the relationship and/or it could involve you’re having anger towards him. I believe the dream condenses here and probably both of those statements are true to some degree. I think the dream could be signaling your anger over your ex never changing as well as indicating that he was aggressive in the relationship in his way of interacting with you.
It is likely that it is a dream of desire. You probably, within the relationship, wished that he would change seriously, which he never did. The snake was aggressive because maybe your boyfriend was too aggressive, in his way, and you understandably have anger over that. For what it’s worth, where the snake strikes him suggests he was a pain in the neck.
The dreamer later told me that the interpretation was accurate.

I had a dream about a group of lions: A female and male leader, two males, two females and a lion cub. They were watching me from a cliff or a ledge. Then, they crawled down and started to run. As they ran , images of everything that has been bothering me appeared in the sky(weight, suicidal thoughts, hurt, etc). Finally they lead me to a cave, and the images in the sky disappeared. I followed them to a beautiful grotto inside the cave.
Then the lioness stood there on top of a hill near the opening of the grotto. Like she was waiting for me to follow her. I followed and we sat near a waterfall that was flowing into a lake. There were glowing fireflies and butterflies around us.
She spoke, and said to “release it”. I crawled over to the lake and threw up continuously into the lake.
She told me the animal kingdom is calling to me and that I must pay attention and listen to what the animals are telling me in my dreams.
She is one of the first but there will be many others that will help me in this difficult time.
After wards, I woke up at 3 am in the morning to throw up. And for the rest of the day I felt sick.
Does this have a deep meaning?
Yes, this is a deep dream or “big dream.” Animals usually represent the dreamer’s instincts. Having a lot of animals is a good sign that you have a lot of subconscious emotional energy you can use.
You have a plethora of lions within you. Lions usually go with strength and courage. Your subconscious is saying that you have balanced energy potentials as there are an even number of adult males and females. Males tend to go with action potentials while females tend to go with emotional energy.
The dream makes a strong case that your worries are not real and are just floating in the sky. Going into a cave typically represents going into your subconscious. Water is virtually always emotion. The dream is saying, I believe, that you have a spring well of flowing positive emotions you can use to refresh yourself.
The cub lion is present because the dream wants you to grow in inner strength and courage even more. Vomiting is getting rid of things making you sick. I believe your subconscious wants you to rid yourself of toxic emotions that are making you sick.
Your inner lioness is urging you to use your instincts and to go with your gut feelings as much as you can given other factors.

A 36-year-old fine arts professor dreamt that he was on the patio of a Mexican restaurant. There was a wasp’s nest above the kidney shaped bar. Suddenly, a wasp flew down and stung him in the head. The dream shifted to him listening to a waittress. She was telling him about a long sordid affair she had with a professor.
This professor recently received job offers from colleges in Ohio and California. WASP also stands for White Anglo Saxon Protestant. I asked him which college was more conservative. He replied that the college in Ohio was much more conservative and he did not know if it would tolerate his avant-garde teaching style and research. I asked him what he associated with Mexican restaurants, and he replied California. I asked him what was the biggest mistake he ever made in his field, and he replied that he regretted a decision not to attend a college in California. That she, the waittress had a sordid affair with a professor indicated that his emotions (the waitress) had been untrue to his intellectual decisions (the male professor)—this was highlighted by the fact that he regretted not going to college in California/
The dream voted in the direction of the college in California. His subconscious exclaimed that a conservative atmosphere was hard on his head and thinking. A restaurant in a dream nurtures one psychologically, and the dream is saying that, for him, California is much more likely to be nurturing.
The female waittress is a part of his work emotions. In dreams, a waittress is often seen as “one who waits.” He told me consciously that his biggest career mistake was not attending a learning institution in California. The waittress is talking about an emotional mistake with a professor. The dream is warning him about making sincere and solid emotional connections. The dream is screaming that he needs to attend a learning institution in California.

I dreamed I was walking, heading to a village, where I have a piece of land I own/where i was born. While I was heading there, an ordinary person told me I can not pass by because a gaint snake is blocking the path/road. He was giving a warning. I wasn’t afraid so I continued. Then on the way, the giant green snake(anaconda) climbed down, unwrapping himself from a tree, rushing towards me. I grabbed a piece of wood. I hit it in the face. The snake fell back and then tries again, so I hit it again in the face and then he was knocked out for good. That’s where the dream ends… what could his mean?.
A snake usually represents change senses one of the few animals to completely shed its skin. This Anaconda is a big aggressive snake. My guess is the change has something to do with the land.
That is, someone or something may be going to try to aggressively change the village and/or land plot that you own but you are going to stop it. I do not know you so this is speculation.

Dream 435: The Corrupt World
A man had the following dream:
“I was asleep, I seen my body being wrapped in threads like a web or a cocoon that surrounded me and strapped me to the bed. I watched it happening as if I was out of my body viewing it from above. Then I slipped back into my body and was struggling to break free of the webbing. I tore a small hole with my fingers and slowly but surely stretched it enough to make my way out. It stuck to me, it was very adhesive. It stretched along with my movements as I made my way and as I walked strands held onto me, and then finally the thick threading snapped and dissolved.
My bedroom was gone. I was in a large city in ruins, it was dark and smoldering, most of the structures had tumbled to the ground. I could tell that I was in a large building that had fallen but some of the walls and archways were still standing. Block and dirt and dust and pure destruction was seen as far as I could see. One doorway stood unscathed, and from this doorway came a group of men in suits, but they no longer had a human appearance. Instead of having heads, their necks branched out into rectangular shapes like the ends of beef jerky. Their flesh was the same, only I thought it was made from bacon or ham and other meats from swine. (they had been living high on the hog)
They were dumb and confused and stumbled around bumping into things. I found a few tables, gathered each of the creatures, strapped them down so they couldn’t move. As I was tying the knots I noticed bubbles pooling together on the doorways and walls. These sweltering pockets were swirling with multiple colors mixed with red, purple and yellow. They looked that of amniotic sacs, veins grew upon the sacs and pulsated. I watched them burst, giant larvae-like creatures incased in fluids gushed out onto the floor. They were the size of my arms at first; I watched as they twisted around and grew into children the size of nine-year-olds with a full head of hair and beautiful multi-colored eyes. They were wet, their skin was a dark gray and blue tone. They were holding their stomaches, their ribs showed like they had suffered from starvation.
Their attention was drawn to the center of the room where I had strapped the meaty beings to the tables. Some could walk but some crawled, but they all slowly made their way to the center of the room and ripped into the creatures. The creatures didn’t have eyes or mouths but I could see their suffering in the way they moved about each time a child bit into them. Suddenly everything rattled and it sounded like a wrecking ball was hitting walls. As I lifted my gaze I could see the remains of structures being knocked to pieces and the floor shook as a giant made his way through the rubble. He was at least fifteen foot tall, dressed in a red bishop’s robe, his facial appearance was stretched about in a demonic nature with black eyes and pockets of dark swelling veins showing on the outside of his skin. His hat stood several feet high and was made of gold, diamonds and other gems that people had obsessed over.
As the giant made his way over to us, his attention was on the children the entire time. I tried to pull them away from their feast but they were so desperate to consume the men they paid no attention; the ones I tried to grab and force to leave just pulled away from me and latched back onto the meat of men. As the bishop entered he grabbed the children one or two at a time, revealing his razor-like teeth and chomped their heads from their bodies, then tossed them to the floor. I tried to stop him but he swatted me, I tumbled backwards across the room and slammed against a wall and then to the ground. As he made his way toward me I heard a vicious growling above me. As I looked up drool splashed across my body and I seen a two-headed dog on a caved in portion of the roof, snarling at the bishop. It launched at the demonic giant, it was the size of a bear but the giant kept slapping it to the ground.
More dogs arrived, all of them with two-heads, all of them enormously large. The beasts pulled the bishop to the ground, ripping at his arms, pulling at his cloth and one had latched upon his throat, but then they began falling to his sides. He had grabbed a piece of twisted metal from the building’s fallen structure and was stabbed at the dogs. He bit them just as hard and ferociously as they were biting him, gashing one another’s flesh, blood dripping from open wounds and splashing about. In the darkest corner of the room I noticed a spear leaning against the wall. It had what appeared to be hieroglyphic markings on it. I couldn’t make out the shapes or the meaning of the markings but it was of an ancient origin. I grabbed the spear and cautiously approached the battle but by this time there was only one dog alive. The bishop knelt over the beast and held it to the floor by the neck as it growled, barked and kicked its legs around trying to squirm free to attack again. The bishop glanced at me with one hand raised high above him with the twisted metal tight within his grip. As he took a breath and gritted his teeth together, but before he could swing down to destroy the beast I ran the spear through his side and upward into his body. His body instantly became limp and he fell forward, releasing the dog. The beast and I shared a slight moment as it looked at me and with trembling hands I stared back at it. He was startled as if he heard something and ran towards an opening in the room to leave; the room filled with light until I was blinded and then into complete darkness. I could hear the dog’s heads barking as I as woke up. Even for a few seconds after I opened my eyes I could still hear it.
I was thirsty. I turned on my bathroom light and then went to the kitchen. I opened the refrigerator door, pulled out a soda, as I closed the door and turned to walk back to my room something dark and tall was next to me, it blocked the light coming from my bedroom and it held no definite shape. I stepped around the black mass and made my way back to my room. I looked back to see if I had really seen something or if my eyes had played tricks on me as they may have been adjusting in the dark after being exposed to the light in the fridge. The mass was gone just as quickly as it had appeared. I often remember my dreams in great detail and sometimes feel like something is showing me things that’s hard to fully make out. The dreams I have are often this dark, this beautiful and, this twisted. I am an aspiring writer and I do write fiction, so I don’t mind it at all. In fact, most of my screenplay ideas have come from strange clips or scenes I’ve had that were in great details. I’ve even had dreams that seemed as if they continued from a previous dream, as if it’s showing the next scene or vision to me.
Was there really a black mass? Maybe there was. Did I conjure up these images and this story from real world experiences or did something show me the dream? In my opinion, it might be a happy blend between the two working together for reasons unknown. Maybe my life experiences and imagination lets them in to play, and maybe they aren’t playing at all. When I analyze my own thoughts and personal fears, I will say this: I fear a famine is coming and the world will be thrown into a period of destruction and turmoil that most people can’t even fathom. I fear the government and the 1% think they know what they are doing and they believe they will be safe from these disasters but no one is safe. I think that the Vatican and Catholicism is in fact an evil empire that has had its grip on society and the way things are ran in this world for centuries and they will one day see that they are not the one that will decide the fate of man. I think that life will find a way to continue, but like the sad and hungry children in my dream, they will be full of desperation and their willingness to survive will stop at nothing. I have no clue what the two-headed beasts may have been but it saved my life, and many of then children survived thanks to them. Hideous or not, they done their duty and were our guardians. Take it with a grain of salt, but I feel that the symbolic images and story here, is indeed a fate mankind may one day have to live through. I feel like this dream could be translated in so many ways and am interested in what people have to say about it.”
I believe this is not only a big dream; it is a gigantic dream. It is talking about your personal transformation, the challenges faced in the world, and your possible role in it.
The first part obviously describes you being in a cocoon and escaping from the cocoon. The implication is that you’ve gone through a metamorphosis. Your worldview has been totally deconstructed, which is evidenced by the destroyed buildings an wreckage surrounding the situation.
The next part of the dream is all about the wealthy financiers. They are made from the meat of swine which says a lot about your feelings towards them. They carry maggots which become children. The implication is that the children are relegated by them to feeding on their waste products.
The children are ravenous beings because they have been starved for so long and literally want to eat the swine wealthy. A representative of the church, which I believe is a Roman Catholic Bishop or Cardinal because of the way you described the vestments and attire. You seem to see the church as involved in fending off the children to support the wealthy.
The dream was very archetypal in that you get a spear with hieroglyphics on it. It is like an ancient sacred weapon. You saved the last two headed dog/bear. Animals are usually the dreamer’s instincts.
It is your instinct to be fiercely loyal and protective–strong like a bear and loyal and protective like a dog. The dog being two-headed indicates that you put double the value on being loyal and protective.
In this dream you use your heroic masculine to save the protective instinctive Guardians that save the innocent/helpless from the evil and vile bureaucracy which oppresses the weak and rewards the wealthy.
I think this dream speaks rather well of your intentions. The question is “how accurate is this depiction of reality?”

“I don’t remember all of the dream but it was a tiger in my dream. The tiger was already like a pet in the dream, the tiger was already a part of the house. I think I was cooking fish or salmon. When I went downstairs with the food, the tiger was following me and looking strange with his mouth. It scared me so I ran upstairs to my family.
I was telling them, “okay, we got to get rid of this tiger because I don’t feel safe anymore.” So the Tiger followed me up the steps and went into my closet and fell on my brother that is deceased and my oldest brother’s talking. They went into the next room, and when my deceased brother came out, he said it won’t happen again. He said, “I promise this won’t happen ever again about the tiger” as if he were the one who brought the tiger there, but then tiger was gone. Then I was outside, I was like near a road. A truck went by and, lo and behold, it was a tiger laying on the back of the truck….
Animals usually represent our instincts in dreams. A tiger is a very powerful symbol. It usually is good to have powerful animals in your dreams because it means you have a lot of instinctive energy in your subconscious.
This tiger may represent the shadow side of your instincts to some degree, but it is a very well-controlled Shadow. You have it on a leash. I believe part of the concern is you don’t want to feed the energy of the Shadow for fear it might get out of hand and harm you.
A house can represent the dreamer to some extent because it is a framework out of which you live. When you move from upstairs to downstairs you’re basically moving from your brain to the kitchen which is basically a place of nurture and creativity. You expressly do not want to feed the Tiger. You don’t want to give more energy to your Shadow side even though it’s well-controlled.
I am guessing that at least one of the brothers represents the heroic masculine. This is good news because it’s used to represent a spiritual dimension since one of them is deceased. Your heroic masculine archetype, the part of you the does helpful and positive things for yourself and others, apologizes for bringing the spirit of the tiger to your consciousness to the point where it scares you. One might say it scares you to death almost.
The dream ends with the deceased brother promising you that it won’t happen again. But you know the way Shadows are, they just don’t go easy. You see the tiger pass by on the truck after you think you’ve gotten rid of it.
The dream is reassuring you that you can’t just get rid of your shadow. You need your shadow, particularly in situations like work which I think is represented by the truck because trucks usually do work-related things. Your Shadow is also your get-up-and-go, it just needs contact with other parts your personality so it doesn’t get out of control.

Dream Image 426: The spiritual snake coiled in the spine
The snake usually represents change in the dream because is one of the few animals to completely shed its skin. It has come to my awareness that different kinds and colors of snakes signify different kinds of change. It hits me that the cobra singularly represents a very special kind of change, especially a white cobra.
The color white is usually associated with spiritual meaning since it is the most spiritual color theory is. In the world, the East considers the Cobra to be very spiritual. In Kundalini Yoga, the energy in the spine is taken as being like a cobra coil at the base of the spine ready to its energy up the spine into God realization.
I recently interpreted a dream in which the dreamer had the image of a three-headed white cobra. Three is the number of change because three people in a relationship is very unstable–things are going to change. I believe this dream was predicting massive and iminent spiritual changes.
Kundalini Yoga is the breathing yoga in which the focus is on the breath. It is considered a very powerful form of yoga where a person can actually get hurt if they use the energy improperly or incorrectly. During my recovery from MS, Kundalini Yoga was one of the healing techniques that help me to recover and send the multiple sclerosis into remission.
Nowadays, I tend to use Hatha Yoga more which is more exercise-based as I feel I need the stretching more now. Yoga truly is the “gentle chiropractor” that was developed simply to help the human body function better.

Dream image 424: Power animals
In dreams, animals represent a part of the dreamers instincts. Basically, when you ask what a particular person’s power animal is, you are asking what instincts are particularly effective, relevant and salient for that person in their situation now. By getting in touch with their power animal, the thought is that the dreamer will be able to use the most effective part of their instinctive energy to help them in their life now consciously.

My daughter had a dream that she had went into a bag to pull out some grocery and all of a sudden a three-headed snake pop up out the bag and her daughter got scared and start hiding behind her and she tried to chop off the snake heads and it wouldn’t chop off. What is the meaning of this dream…
In dreams groceries (food) is psychological support or nurture usually. A snake represents change because it’s one of the few animals to shed its skin. The change probably involves three difficult choices or people the dreamer has to use their head to select from– since she was trying to cut off the head of the snake which also implies that she really doesn’t want to decide, but because she could not cut the heads off, she must decide.
It is probably an emotional decision as her daughter might represent her inner Emotional Self that she wants to hide. This is taking her daughter as the average little girl and assuming that she has no problems or outstanding characteristics which would influence what she is trying to hide emotionally. This is said without knowing her and represents possible guesses that occurred to me off the top of my head.

Dream Image 421: Dolphins are a sparkling, pure and playful energy in dreams
Animals usually represent instinctive energy in dreams. Water virtually always represents emotions in dreams, especially subconscious emotions as the ocean is the biggest symbol of the subconscious that we have. When it involves the ocean, the dream usually involves how you are handling or traversing emotional energy in the world which includes your own and energy from the collective subconscious (unconscious).
Dolphins are almost always good news when they appear in dreams. It usually represents the dreamer has an abundance of competent, playful and social energy as dolphins are very interactive with other species and especially with humans. Other than people , they are one of the few species to have sex also for the fun of it.
They have so many human-like qualities that it is not hard to believe, as some evolutionary biologistso have hypothesized, that dolphins may have first evolved from the sea and transitioned to land; however, they then changed direction and returned to the ocean because it was a more favorable environment than land. In the sea, dolphins have few predators other than some misguided humans and some types of sharks.

Dream 419: Sealing My Emotions
A woman reported the following dream:
“I cannot remember the beginning of the dream however I dreamed about a toy dog…grey..in a normal bed…but alive !!
Two people were on each side of the bed moving him into another place (a room) where the toy dog will be more comfortable. I kissed him from his cheek with passion, assuring him that he will be ok. My lipstick left a mark on his cheek. He shook his head with appreciation and made a noise. I was neither happy or sad. Thank for the help in interpreting.”
The two people involved implies a couple so it’s probably relationship issues. It probably involves sexual issues since a bed is involved. Pets usually go with our affections. Dogs in particular tend to go with feelings of loyalty.
That the dog is grey means that there are some Shades of Grey in the relationship.
The fact that it is a toy dog means it may involve someone who toys with your affections and loyalty or emotions that you may initially not take seriously.
Your kissing him in the dream seals the deal in my world that you are wanting a relationship where people are loyal to one another. This also involves accepting shades of grey within yourself emotionally. It seems like it would imply that you are more likely to be appreciated and have a good relationship if you accept Shades of Grey as all relationships have their positive and negative moments.
The dog being grateful I think means that you will be very much appreciated for your loyalty in spite of the shades of grey within yourself or within a relationship.

It is almost always good news when trees up in force in your dreams. That is because they are a symbol of integration. Their roots go far into the earth, trees are on the level with you, and they open up to the sky.
Beyond that, they provide shelter/food to animals/ humans and convert carbon dioxide to oxygen. They also have the favorable associations noted in the image above by a poster to Namaste:
“Advice from a tree,
Stand Tall and Proud
Go Out on a Limb
Remember your Roots
Drink lots of water
Be Content with your Natural Beauty”
Let dreams help you integrate at http://www.drstevenfox.com
I dreamed I was in a dark forest walking on a dirt path, in the middle of the path there were black horses breathing fire thru nostrils. I felt terrified and sat on ground in a fetus position, praying to please allow me to cross over the other side. I crawled slowly, getting under the horses. Suddenly these horses started rubbing heads on my face with so much love. Slowly removing the extreme fear with loving touches. Then different animals in the forest– deer, mice, rats, snakes and so on. All where rubbing and caressing me, and I was in a state of overwhelming love..WOKE UP..cried because i still felt the sensation of this love, I couldn’t eat meat for months. I couldn’t cut chicken for my family’s dinners. I would start crying. It was strange to still feel it after months. I am not religious or a vegetarian.
Animals generally represent our instincts which are biological necessities in order to survive. Horses in particular seem to represent female living energy or libido. The first part of the dream is you have the power of that life force. It is the shadow side of the life or love force that provides the “horsepower” needed in life. The remainder of the dream is trying to make you comfortable with accepting that energy because when that life force is used correctly, it is loving, instinctual, and the basis of life.

Dream 404: I’m a panda bear reaching for the stars
A woman had the following dream:
I dreamed I was a Panda bear, yes, a Panda.
Boy are their lives boring!
I dreamed I was eating bamboo.
While I was eating it I stared at the moon.
And I decided to follow a star all of the sudden.
Next to the moon while eating leaves and Bamboo.
So I climb up on a tree thingy while eating,
And tried to reach for the star,
And was thinking in my dream, wow, we are so small.
And I woke up. Now whats with the Panda people?
Animals usually represent the dreamer’s instincts. Trees involve integration of yourself into the world. Eating usually represents how you nurture yourself. Leaves are green and green usually involves growth because it is the color of plants. Bamboo grows very fast. The stars often represent destiny as in “Our destiny is in the stars.”
The dream indicates that you are by instinct a cute, cuddly and playful person (a panda who is very cute, cuddly and playful) who finds personal growth nourishing. You probably want to go further in your growth and the sky is the limit.
Dreams can often help you overcome limits at http://www.drstevenfox.com
Two recent dream’s…
•One large cardinal in the forest..
•One large copperhead
The cardinal was abnormally large, sitting in a tree and I was watching it as it flew down. The snake was coiled at the bottom and errect facing me with its mouth open as I looked at its fangs and talked to someone about its poison.
Birds usually represent freedom, independence and taking flight in life. Snakes most often represent change. Snakes are one of the few animals to completely shed its skin. You may be trying to assess what dangers (fangs and poison) are involved in your taking flight in life. Cardinals are typically red. Red goes with love and intense emotions. Red is also the color that goes with our family chakra.
It sounds like you are trying to assess how much damage or change in your life is going to occur as you become more independent. It is likely that you are especially concerned on how it affects family emotions.
The cardinal being abnormally large probably means you are in the process of making big decisions regarding your independence and flight. The decision you make could be of Cardinal importance.
Dreams can help you make decisions at http:www.drstevenfox.com
“I have been having dreams of horned owls surrounding me. I have my hands and face up, and these owls are just flying around me. I am standing in a field and I am wearing a white dress and have really long hair. There’s a breeze and my hair is blowing around me. The owls are all different colors and sizes.” Someone please tell me what this signifies.”
Owls are associated with wisdom. Flying frequently signals spirituality or trying to reach spiritual goals. White is the most spiritual color that there is.
The way she is holding her hands is frequently seen at religious services. She is dressed in almost ceremonial garb with the wind blowing through her hair emphasizing naturalness and freedom.
The owls being different colors and sizes is important because colors represent different emotions. The size of the owl probably signifies the importance of different spiritual ideas.
Owls make the sound of “who.” I wonder if the dream is saying that you are wisely trying to find out who you are at a spiritual level, what thoughts, ideas, and feelings are important to you.

Dream 395: Looking for love in all the wrong places
A man had the following dream:
“I have trouble with cats in some dreams. At first I’m glad to see a cat, but sooner or later they claw in my arms or legs and they won’t let go. It’s painful and I want it to stop asap, feeling annoyed and threatened maybe. I don’t really know what to make of it.”
I think this dream is a combination or a condensation of the first two levels of dream interpretation which is as it involves yourself and as it involves you in interpersonal relationships.
To say it simply, you have hurt yourself by having affections for people who do not have affection for you. Pets usually represent your affections. They are probably women given the cat usually goes with women and female affections. In any case, the emphasis is on emotional affection and how you are being hurt by it.
The thought is that on the interpersonal level the people you are having affection for do not only not return the affection, but actively hurt you. It is interesting that the cats will not let go and continue to hurt you.
I believe this is saying that you persist in showing affection to people who do not return the affection, and these people continue to persist in wanting to hurt you. You continue to show affection to people who are not only not neutral, but are hazardous to your welfare.
This is not given in a professional sense but in an investigative / interest way and should not be relied upon to run your life.

A woman had the following dream: “I had a strange dream I was walking then I saw my sister at an office and she says that my mom got bit by ants. I believe that was the doctors office. It ended there.”
“Each living thing in the dream represents a part of your mind at the first level. It sounds like it mainly involves emotions since women tend to go more with emotions. The mother in the dream is the mother in your mind that we call the mother introject. The mother introject is often the basis of emotions.
Animals (in this case ants) usually represent our instincts, what we are prone to do naturally. Ants are methodical, routine and focused on accomplishing what needs to be done for the group compulsively.
Being bit by ants is a nuisance/irritating. I wonder if there is a situation (maybe involving family) where you have put in a lot of work and are feeling a little annoyed or taken for granted?”
The dreamer responded with the following confirmation: “Yes, my sister was over for a month. My sister is very bossy and doesn’t use nice words to tell them to do things. Not cursing, not a sweet person very cold and mean!”
Dream 390: Old MacDonald had a Barn Full of Energy
A woman had the following dream:
“I dreamed that the family I babysit for (I am friends with the mother) had lost like a friend or family member and a very large sum of cash was owed/given to them. The family drove me to the place to pick it up because they needed help getting it. We go to this farm looking space and I walk into the barn/ware-house type building. It was only being lit from the natural lighting coming from outside but it was enough for me to see this huge trunk in the middle of the room that i needed to use to put the money in for the family, there was huge wads of cash and single bills scattered about the floor. I filled up the trunk as much as I could, and left the rest there, as I made my way back to the family’s car. Just because I was the only one in there taking the money for the family, it felt in a way like I was stealing, but i was only doing what I was told to do, I think I felt odd being the one having to go get the money instead of one of the family members doing it themselves, but they said they needed me to help get it for them. When I got to the car, a man who was following me, walked up to us (tan, dark hair and handsome; wearing overalls), said sorry he was not in the room with me to help out and he had work elsewhere to do, and he brought me the remaining cash that was for the family. Then we all drove away.”
In dreams, money is energy. The barn is a natural and I want to say innocent place where your instincts (animals) are nurtured.
It sounds like you want to give all of the instinctive energy you can to the family you babysit for and want to give even more, but hold back wondering if you should, but then say it is okay because that is what I am supposed to do.
You get the energy free of charge from the universe by doing what you do for this family and you even get paid for doing it (no reason to feel guilty about being paid). The heroic action part of yourself feels that you could give even more energy to this family because it is nothing but good. What a country!
The tall, dark and handsome man is the representation of your own heroic masculine archetype which is often the initiator of therapeutic action, of things that are good for you. This part wholeheartedly wants you to feel uninhibited in giving personal energy to the family (the energy of the universe is supplied to you without your asking for it and this is a good thing for you and for the family).

“I’ve been having this recurring dream and i’m not sure what to make of it…Until a few months ago i’ve been in a relationship with this girl and we would meet very rarely since she lives far far away.
In this dream, i’m rushing to a place where we supposedly said we would meet, first in a cab, then on foot. It looks a bit like the park in my city but it’s not quite it. I think it’s autumn time, leaves all around the pavement, few passers-by.
The realisation comes to me that i don’t really know the exact spot where i’m supposed to go… I’m starting to run late and i get a little agitated. Then, starting to cross a bridge over a small stream, I see a door in the middle of it, nothing else, just a door standing there. Somehow the idea that i’m supposed to enter it hits me. “This is the place where people go to find each other” or something similar comes into my mind suddenly.
I enter the door and there’s something like a small waiting room, a clinic or hospital waiting room by the looks of it. There’s light coming from the windows but i can’t see anything outside of it. There are these benches crammed full of people and people leaning against the walls. I think to myself if she’s here i’ll have a hard time finding her.
But i find her right away, and as i’m standing no more than 3 meters away she looks around as if looking for someone, and she keeps looking right passed me as if i’m not really there. I think to myself maybe she didn’t see me, but what if she just changed her mind and she’s just pretending? Should I just go and tap her on the shoulder or walk away? But I go towards her, in spite of having to push aside people passing by… I get nervous and i always wake up. There are always small variations in the dream but it’s mostly the same.”
A reoccurring dream is usually very significant because it represents a situation where your subconscious has repeatedly tried to solve a situation or problem.
In this dream and in most dreams, a bridge usually represents a major passage in life. Something has materially happened to change your life.
You are crossing over water, a small stream. Water is emotions usually and rivers or streams usually represent the river of life.
This is not a massive river but a small stream. That indicates that you’re trying to bridge the gap over emotions that probably are not there as much as they should be, that it is more important to bridge the gap than it is to make it over massive emotions.
The door probably represents the opening to solving your conflicts over losing her.
A clinic is a place where people come to get healed. Your subconscious seems to see the issue as you getting over her. The emotion again is not there, so she does not recognize you.
You then try to make your way past people to get to her. The dream does not say this outright, but I think it may be hinting that it is time to give up the chase, and to invest yourself in the people you are passing by.
This sounds painful, but is a passage in your life and your challenge is to bridge the gap, and not chase something that emotionally is not there.
Take it for what its worth because this is without knowing you and you should glean what seems to be true to yourself.

“I was walking around a mall alone. I was going around and around the same shops like I was trying to find a special one but never could. Then I finally found it and it looked like a clothing and candle shop.
I went in immediately searching for a cobalt blue candle. I wanted the largest one I could find with 3 wicks. I was smelling them and the smells were vivid and I found one I wanted.
Then I was standing near the checkout and there were some long single chain necklaces. I searched thru them until I found a long gold chain with a feather charm on the end. I went to grab it but as I did some other woman grabbed it too. We debated for a bit who had it first and she let me have it.
So I went back to the checkout counter and realized I had lost my shoes. I had been wearing white socks with colorful Nike sandals. I don’t ever do that. But seemingly someone took my sandals when I had taken them off debating the necklace issue.
A guy who worked there confronted me asking where my shoes were. Then he said show me the bottom of your feet. He wanted to see if I had been walking in the grass in my socks. When I raised my foot it was covered in grey dirt not green.
Then I started talking to a guy standing in line in front of me and he was making a payment on something that the store was charging him interest on. He had a large check that he showed me was written out for $3333.”
One thing I’ve found to be almost always be true is that if you have a dream about a shopping mall, the dream usually is going to be talking about how you have been mauled in a business, career, or financial sense.
Looking for a candle implies you are always trying to look for the light in a business situation and usually you are able to sniff out what is right. You have to compete with other people who may be onto the same thing, but usually you can convince others to see it your way. Looking for a candle implies you always try and look for the light in the business situation and usually are able to sniff out what is right.
You have to compete with other people who may be on to the same thing, but usually you can convince others to see it your way.
Cobalt blue usually would go with mental activity and speaking out loud according to the chakra system if I looked at the concept of blue in a broad sense.
You can usually sniff out what is good and is likely to lead to change (smelling the candles and three is the number of change as there are 3 wicks).
I like the interpretation of the golden necklace with a feather being having valuable intuitive ability that you can bet your neck on (the necklace) and that can take wing(the feather).
The debate with the woman indicates the you can usually convince others to see it your way for your own advantage.
Socks are usually protective as are sandals in getting you to where you need to go. It is interesting that these are white socks. White is the most spiritual color that there is.
The whole thing about the socks and the grass and the dirt and the Nikes I believe indicates that you are willing to do what needs to be done and do not necessarily do things just to look good.
You sometimes and probably more often are more willing to do the dirty work (the grey on the socks) than to do things for your own personal growth (the green from plants on the bottom of your socks). You focus on getting the job done and not necessarily protecting yourself excessively and are willing to make yourself vulnerable to a degree.
The final image of the guy paying off the $3333 debt he was being charged interest on is perhaps one of the most interesting aspects of this dream. Money is energy in dreams. It can be money itself but it also can be energy that other people have loaned you in in this case.
The dream is emphasizing that you need to pay back the favors you’ve been given before they end up costing you too much. It could end up costing you more if people feel that you have not shown enough interest.
3 is the number of change and you have four 3’s. I believe the dream might be saying that if you change this aspect and pay off the favors early, it will lead to stability because 4 is the number of stability as there are four legs on a table, four legs on a chair, four directions, four seasons, etc.
This is a nicely done and well rounded dream about how to conduct your career/business/financial aspects of your life.
Feedback from the Dreamer
The dreamer gave me the following feedback:
“Steven-this is pretty awesome! I wanna show u how accurate. Hugely mauled over at work but also benefiting from it and competing not for the same position but to do the same work..long story and it’s incredibly draining has been for months. My intuition is always spot on especially regarding others’ intentions. I have a hard time verbalizing that and sharing my insights and hold back on speaking about it especially lately and even when asked. I always over exert myself and energy in order to ‘get the job done’ re: the dirt not green. The check for $3333 was interesting and I remember thinking he bought an engagement ring with it and was making payments. Although I did recently have a reiki session and now I’m wondering if I need to be repaying them or the universe in some way to pay it forward.”

“Twice within a month I have dreamed of large tomatoes… (I’m saying bigger than your head large).
Also last night I dreamed of a black horse that was bleeding,I tried tending to the wounds. It was dark and I was in the woods.”
She later indicated that the horse ran away in the dream.
Food represents support, psychological support or emotional support in a dream.
The tomatoes are large maybe because the dreamer wanted some juicy and nurturing psychological support for which she probably was longing.
At the first level of dream interpretation, a person or animal or spirits usually represents different parts of your mind . Horses often represent female sexual power or energy, literally they are “horsepower.”
The horse being black indicates that this horse may represent the shadow side of sexuality. That part of the dreamer’s world has been hurt deeply and she was trying to repair it and get her instincts back in line. She probably wants to run away from the deep issues of shadow sexuality that this dream may represent.
Like the horse in the dream, she was probably hurt, restless, and running around trying to find her way. Her trying to help the horse in the dream indicates that she probably needed emotional healing.

Dream 332: The snooty and prudish tried to kill my instincts but I’m hard-headed enough to resist
A 49-year-old woman dreamed that she was an animal running from British redcoats in an oak forest near a town. They were chasing her on horses. Then two men got off their horses as she slid down a slope.
She turned and looked at a redcoat who fired a shot at her. He shot her right between the eyes. She heard a ‘tink’ noise like metal hitting metal.
The British are known to be very socially proper people. Based on the British troops, the idea at the first level of dream interpretation would be something like the very socially proper part of her personality wanted to get rid of or “kill” an instinctive part of her personality. Animals in dreams represent the dreamer’s instincts. She later reported that she felt like a hunted animal in the dream.
If we go to the second or interpersonal level, which tends to be less accurate, I wondered if some aggressively prudish (British soldiers) people were disapproving of her. She reported that recently she was found to be a descendant of some noble lineage. She found there to be a rich snooty attitude amongst the relatives she met that was foreign to her.
She considered herself to be a country girl with solid values that were resistant to being changed by others snobbish or prudish attitudes. The dream was saying that the noblesse oblige attitude hit her instincts (the hunted animal) like a shot between the eyes, a shot in the brain. Fortunately, the “tink” noise sounded like the bullet hit metal, i.e., she was hard-headed enough not to let the condescending upper class attitude affect her.

Animals represent an instinctive energy in a dream. A dragon represents very powerful and almost magical instinctive energy. the following dream illustrates this principle.
A woman dreamed that two men replacing millstones deep in the earth through a long shaft because they believed it would unleash energy from the earth. She thought the energy that freed to go to the surface was a wild dragon.
Men usually represent action parts of the mind. Tunneling into the earth usually represents traveling to the subconscious because you are going underneath what underlies reality. Things buried in the earth have an interesting history.
In Greek, Norse, and Germanic mythology, things buried in the earth like a stone or a millstone were seen as bringing forth powerful energy from the earth. In Greek mythology, the Giants sprang from objects buried deep in the earth. The Giants were in opposition to the gods and frequently were at war with them. It was thought that each volcano had a giant buried beneath it which, when the giant was angered, led to eruptions.
So the dream essentially meant that she was unleashing powerful instinctive and almost magically wild energy from her subconscious and bringing it to the service of consciousness in her life. If the dragon was a flying dragon, that would signal even more energy. And if the dragon breathed fire, that would be serious change because fire transforms matter into energy. In any case, it was a very big and powerful dream that forecast new and magically wild energy surfacing in her life.

A woman dreamed that she owned a mansion with a stable that were haunted. She made an agreement with the ghosts that if they left her alone, she would not exorcise them. She thoroughly cleaned and decorated the house.
There were many dead animals in her dream as well. They still had all their body parts with the same colors and fur, but they did not breathe.
For months this was a nightmare, but it eventually transformed into a place she loved to visit in her dreams. Her haunted farm became a place of peace and fulfillment.
Ghosts are often memories of the past because it is like we can be haunted by memories of the past. It is one of the interpretations that Freud was right on. Of course he was not right on everything, but some things he was stunningly right on. That horses often represent female sexual power was one of them.
In any case, animals usually represent basic instincts or drives. It sounded like her instincts had been deadened. She was comfortable with it because her past was a bit wild.
In any case, it sounded like had dealt with her past. She was now at peace. The farm is a natural place suggesting she was more grounded perhaps than in the past.
The dreamer confirmed this interpretation. She noted that her past was somewhat wild. She had recently come to terms with her past. She did it by contemplating and riding horses on a farm. This dream was a condensation because it was true on both a symbolic and concrete level.

Dream Answer 319: When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going
Newts have the unusual ability to regenerate eyes, intestines, hearts, spinal cords and jaws. Lizards are reptiles that are quick to avoid their many enemies and predators and have amazing defenses. Some lizards, to escape a predator who has them in their clenches, can actually separate their tail from their body with the tail still having movability to distract the predator so that they can get away. That lizard will later regenerate the tail.
Animals represent our instincts. Both newts and lizards negotiate and travel in or on water (emotions) and land (conscious thinking). Newts and lizards would represent the part of the person that has adaptive defenses that are regenerative and quick in many different kinds of situations.
Both would usually be a good sign in a dream. Newts probably lean toward generating or regenerating your get up and go, while lizards probably go more with being able to adapt to and defend yourself in difficult circumstances. It is interesting that during the early stages of development a fetus comes very close to looking like an amphibian.

I am finishing my personal story and sojourn to health by putting MS into remission with the help of the universe/God. It will be my second book showing that dreams were an important part of that journey. My personal psychology enters into the picture a lot. I basically see years of physical abuse as laying the foundation for having the foundation for contracting the chronic illness of multiple sclerosis. Amazon will publish it first as an ebook. The name of the book will be something like MS Mission Remission: Healing Severe Chronic Multiple Sclerosis Against All Odds.
