Dream 406: Fruit of my labor and life
A man had the following dream:
“Some remarkable new symbols in a dream: I had to make a sickle for school. It turned out nicely, with a big wide shiny blade, the handle might have been a little small for good handling. Maybe that’s why the teacher told me she couldn’t give me a high grade.
Later there was a crossbow, I don’t think I made that. I was mesmerized by it, I kept looking at the details. In the end I did a test shot, it was very powerful and accurate.”
Also sickle is used to harvest crops. Literally it could be talking about harvesting the fruits of your labors. The sickle also goes with death.
You could think of this as a symbol of you preparing to harvest the most from your life. If anything, your making the handle of the sickle too small may indicate that you should think bigger, that with the right tools you can accomplish much bigger tasks than you think you can. The crossbow indicates that you are right on target with what you are doing now.
It is interesting that these are both very ancient tools/weapons which indicates that it is a big dream as it is using very known symbols to the collective subconscious. It is talking about the harvest of your life and whether you are on target or not probably. This interpretation may be extremely biased because I was a farmer at one point in my life.
