  1. Thanks Steve, i will accept your compliment on behalf of all the Indian sages who shared it with me…ha ha ha…meanwhile, just occurred to me that you wanted to read Krishna’s Counsel as a beta reader — do you really? If so send me a message to my personal email which you have – if not via WordPress — i can send it to you today — but only if you are REALLY interested. Om! (There is a very simple way to discern what is maya and what is not — the theory of real and unreal — what is real what is unreal acc. to eastern phil? Real = that which is permanent and lasting — which lets out everything but pure consciousness, which is our true nature – its all very simple but takes eons to realize). Om!!!

  2. Steven, the eastern view encompasses relative as well as Absolute reality — but most tend to misunderstand this (not you). It is just simply that this world is a school — and schools and students are not perfect. We come here, for some inexplicable reason, to learn. Om!

    1. I really like your point of view. Deciding what philosophical stance to take regarding the maya surrounding everyone seems to be the hardest thing to do. To calm down and witness while trying to discern is the challenge it seems.

  3. A great song by a great musician and visionary. Was the world meant for such a vision; or is it “The School of Hard Knocks?” It seems the latter is true, but, if indeed the Eastern Philosophy is correct, it is all a grand illusion; i.e. “Maya.” Once the Veil falls away, Lennon’s vision can take over the consciousness.

  4. Reblogged this on mira prabhu and commented:
John Lennon’s Imagine…as someone addicted to the wisdom of eastern philosophy, I don’t believe this planet was ever intended to be the way he dreamed it could be…except for certain Golden Ages…because our true nature is already perfect — immortal and blissful consciousness that has chosen to enter this pain-filled realm for some inexplicable reason….i remind myself of this constantly in order to deal with what is going on right now on our suffering Earth. Thank you Dr. Steven Fox.
