Dream Incubation

This dream incubation procedure is described in chapter 34 of “Dreams: Guide to the Soul.”

Dream 164: Incubating White Socks

A 19-year-old girl dreamt that she incubated a dream involving asking herself the question “why do I place myself in dangerous situations?” When she awakened she had a vivid image of white socks.

Interpretation

Clothing represents protective defenses. To be specific, socks protect the part of our body that support us and get us somewhere in life. White is a spiritual color. The dream was saying she put herself in dangerous situations as a spiritual test, i.e., making it through a dangerous situation would mean that she was spiritually protected on her quests through life which meant to her that she was a worthwhile person.

Dream incubation interpretations are described in my book at http://www.drstevenfox.com
